The IGFA, the largest sport fishing organization in the world, publicized reportage about Jakub’s expedition to the wild and lovely Congo in its annual edition of the magazine. Inside you may have a look at it.
Jakub Vágner and his team returned from a two-week expedition in Africa. This time the expedition company went into little-explored waters where there lives one of the largest freshwater fish in the world – the Nile perch.

Do you remember Jakub’s expedition to India?
Another fresh-water goliath was caught and documented.
As you all know, Jakub left at the end of June with his friend on a several week expedition, the third already, into the dangerous Congo. It was just at the time when the world-wide channel The National Geographic broadcast, in the programme “Hooked: Vampire Fish”, his struggle with the tigerfish that lives in the regions of the Congo, which Jakub caught on his first expedition last year and on his second one in February 2009.

On June 30th, American satellite television National Geographic featured the first episode of the new serial "Hooked: Vampire Fish", starring Jakub.
This unpredictable country, where most people would dare venture, had so enthralled him that he launched his next expedition back again into these dangerous regions. This is hardly a surprise, since it is a region of lakes and rivers, rich with species of fish that are abundant here in the thousands. If we receive any reports from Jacob, which will not likely be easy from these parts, we will share with you any news in the course of his journey.

It is only a few days that the famous angler and adventurer Jakub Vágner returned from his last expedition sent there by US company Hoff Productions.
