In June 2009, Jakub Vágner was invited to the National Geographic Channel expedition that led to the mystery goonch, which lives in the territory of India.

In May 2009, Jakub Vágner organized an expedition to the basin of the river Bang Pakong in Thailand. The aim of this expedition was to catch the Giant freshwater stingray with the Latin name Himantura chaophraya.

In April 2009, Jakub set for expedition to Thailand. His aim: to catch the biggest cyprinid fish, Giant Siamese Carp.  During the expedition, Jakub caught two carps, one of which attained weight of 46 kgs.

In September 2008, Jakub Vágner led an expedition to the Lake Tanganyika. The aim was to catch one of the world’s biggest freshwater fish with the Latin name Lates angustifrons.

In July 2008, Jakub Vágner and his teem went on a successful expedition to the world’s biggest salmon fish, Taimen. The expedition was taking place at the border between Mongolia and Russia, in the basin of the Lower Yenisei River.

In February 2008, Jakub achieved to catch the giant Amazon catfish – goliath catfish (Brachyplatystoma filamentosum) with a weight of 190 kg.

In May 2007, Jakub Vágner went on a successful expedition to Alligator Gar to Texas. During the 14 day expedition, several gars could be caught weighing more than 70 kg. The biggest piece was a gar with a weight of 90 kg.

In March 2007, Jakub Vágner and his teem went on an expedition to Congo to one of the biggest freshwater legends, the giant Tiger Fish. The expedition could catch several pieces with a weight up to 37 kg.
